1. The federal tax credit covers 30% of an EV charging station, necessary equipment and installation costs. For residential installations, the IRS caps the tax credit at $1,000.

2. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is offering $3 Billion for port authorities and state, regional, local, and tribal agencies with jurisdiction over ports, and air pollution control agencies to deploy zero-emission port equipment and to purchase and install charging infrastructure through its Clean Ports Program. EPA will provide reimbursement of up to $500 Million, up to 80-90% of total eligible project costs, depending on applicant and project details. Applications will be evaluated competitively and will be accepted between February 2024 and May 2024.
3. The National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula Program allocates $5 billion in funding for EV charging infrastructure across 75,000 miles of highway across the country. Your organization must be within one mile of an established alternative fuel corridor to qualify and may need to meet other requirements as well.
Vermont
1. BED also offers a rebate of up to $900 for the purchase and installation of a qualifying Wifi enabled EV charging stations for customers that have enrolled in BED’s Residential EV Rate. Eligible applicants must have purchased an EV charging station within 60 days of the acquisition of the EV.

2. GMP residential customers are eligible for a free Level 2 EV charging station when they purchase a new or pre-owned plug-in electric vehicle. For more information about these incentives, see the GMP In-Home Level 2 EV Charger website.
3. VEC offers a bill credit of $500 per connector, up to $1,000, to VEC member businesses and public entities that install Level 2 EV charging stations or direct current fast charging (DCFC) stations after July 1, 2017. To qualify, the EV charging stations must be available for public use. VEC also offers residential customers a $250 bill credit for the purchase of a Level 2 EV charging station. Members with eligible chargers may receive an additional upfront $50 incentive and an $8 monthly incentive for participating. 4. VEC: If you purchase your own level II charger, you can receive a $250 incentive if you either 1) set a schedule to not charger from 5-9pm Monday through Friday, or 2) if it is a Flo or ChargePoint, enroll it in VEC's communications platform to receive another $50 upfront incentive and $8/month as long as you do not opt out of events.
