The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is offering $3 Billion for port authorities and state, regional, local, and tribal agencies with jurisdiction over ports, and air pollution control agencies to deploy zero-emission port equipment and to purchase and install charging infrastructure through its Clean Ports Program. EPA will provide reimbursement of up to $500 Million, up to 80-90% of total eligible project costs, depending on applicant and project details. Applications will be evaluated competitively and will be accepted between February 2024 and May 2024.
3. The National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula Program allocates $5 billion in funding for EV charging infrastructure across 75,000 miles of highway across the country. Your organization must be within one mile of an established alternative fuel corridor to qualify and may need to meet other requirements as well.
Colorado
1. The Colorado Energy Office Fleet Zero-Emission Resource Opportunity (Fleet-ZERO) grant program offers competitive grants to fleets for the purchase and installation of EV charging infrastructure. Eligible applicants include light-, medium-, and heavy-duty fleets; independent owner-operators; charging providers; and property owners, developers, and managers.

2. Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station Tax Exemption. EV charging station owners are exempt from paying property tax on the stations until January 1, 2030.

3. San Isabel Electric Association (SIEA) offers customers rebates for the purchase and installation of Level 2 and direct current fast charging (DCFC) stations.

4. Black Hills Energy offers residential customers a $500 rebate for the purchase and installation of a Level 2 EV charging station. Low-income residents are eligible for a rebate of up to $1,300.
5. Xcel Energy offers customers EV charging rebates and off-peak charging credits.
6. Gunnison County Electric Association (GCEA) offers rebates to residential customers for the purchase of Level 2 EV charging station. Eligible customers may receive a rebate for 50% of the cost to purchase and install an EV charging station, up to $1,250.

9. Poudre Valley REA provides a rebate for Level 2 home chargers, offering the lower of 50% or $250 for equipment purchases and the lower of 50% or $250 for the installation of the Level 2 charger.

10. United Power United EV will provide residential customers with a ChargePoint Home charging station including maintenance and energy management services for $19 per month. Customers are responsible for hiring an electrician of their choice to install wiring for the charger and are eligible for a rebate of up to $500 for the wiring.
