Home charging questions

Do I need an electrician to install it?

Hardwired installs should be completed by a licensed electrician. Mounting and connecting the charger typically takes an electrician under an hour. Total time depends on your panel and the wiring run. The 40 A plug-in model works with a suitable 240 V (NEMA 14-50) outlet.

Which EVs are Spark chargers compatible with?

Spark AC chargers use the universal North American connector and work with every EV on the road, including Tesla vehicles with an adapter.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. Spark residential chargers are backed by a 5-year warranty. Hardware carries UL, CSA, FCC/IC and Energy Star certifications.
