2. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is offering $3 Billion for port authorities and state, regional, local, and tribal agencies with jurisdiction over ports, and air pollution control agencies to deploy zero-emission port equipment and to purchase and install charging infrastructure through its Clean Ports Program. EPA will provide reimbursement of up to $500 Million, up to 80-90% of total eligible project costs, depending on applicant and project details. Applications will be evaluated competitively and will be accepted between February 2024 and May 2024.
3. The National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula Program allocates $5 billion in funding for EV charging infrastructure across 75,000 miles of highway across the country. Your organization must be within one mile of an established alternative fuel corridor to qualify and may need to meet other requirements as well.
Maryland
1. Potomac Edison offers residential customers the opportunity to earn 2 cents per kilowatt-hour when charging with eligible EV chargers during off-peak hours through the EV Driven Off-Peak Rewards Program.

2. Potomac Edison offers multifamily property owners a rebate of up to $20,000 for the purchase and installation of qualified Level 2 or direct current (DC) fast chargers on their property through the EV Driven Program.

3. Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE) offers commercial customers a rebate for 50% of the purchase and installation cost of eligible Level 2 EV chargers, up to $5,000 per port, and 50% of the purchase and installation cost of eligible direct current (DC) fast chargers, up to $15,000 per port. Rebate awards may not exceed $30,000 per site.

4. BGE will cover the cost of your fleet assessment – valued at $25,000 – with only a $2,500 upfront fee which will be refunded if you move forward with fleet electrification within one year of assessment completion.

5. Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE) offers time-of-use (TOU) rate for residential customers that own or lease an EV. Eligible customers must own a qualified Level 2 EV charger, capable of separately tracking EV charging data. 6. Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative (SMECO) offers to install and operate a public Level 2 or direct current (DC) fast charger on government property at no cost to the government sites. A maximum of 60 EV chargers will be installed through this program and applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional terms and conditions apply. 7. The Maryland Energy Administration offers $700 rebates to residents who install a qualified EV charging station.
