Zero-Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP)

Available for delivery organizations and indigenous organizations, ZEVIP covers up to 50 percent of eligible expenses of purchasing and installing level 2 charging stations in public spaces such as parking lots, offices, and multi-unit residential structures. The maximum financing per station is $5,000, with a total funding limit of $100,000 for each project.

Provincial

Municipal Electric Vehicle Initiative (MEVi) administered by Eco-West Canada (formerly Eco-Quest), provides funding for up to 50 percent of eligible costs, to a maximum of $5,000 per Level 2 charger connector. The program supports the installation of EV charging stations in public spaces, workplaces, fleet depots, and multi-unit residential buildings (MURBs).

Available to municipalities, businesses, and organizations, MEVi aims to expand charging infrastructure across communities. Individual home chargers are not eligible under this program.
