Spark’s Mobile Charging Trailer versus Fixed DC Station

Spark’s Mobile Charging Trailer versus Fixed DC Station

Which is best for your business?

Does mobile charging make sense for your business? If you are considering the installation of a DC charger, you may be surprised to find the initial cost of owning Soneil Spark’s Mobile Charging Trailer (MCT) is comparable to the average electrical service upgrade required for DC installation.

You may also be surprised to learn that the time required to charge vehicles is not significantly different between our MCT and fixed DC stations. In most cases, both charge EVs at the same rate.

Unlike a fixed DC charger, however, Spark’s MCT can be customized to simultaneously charge multiple vehicles with either AC or DC power. The current charging rate of our MCT is 214 kilowatts per port, with a combined capacity of 107 kilowatts when multiple ports are used.

That means charging when and where you need it, and flexibility that fixed DC chargers cannot offer.

Versatility and Emergency Power
That flexibility gives our MCT many usage options, including off-grid EV charging where there is no infrastructure, and optional add-ons that expand capability to include standby power during building power outages, and microgrid capabilities to support emergency situations—the MCT can even be equipped to supply AC power for disaster relief, enhancing its utility in emergency scenarios.

If you are looking for the speed of DC charging but want additional flexibility, there’s no better solution than Soneil Spark’s Mobile Charging Trailer.
